Robert Paul Schwippert


Robert Paul is a cultural expert with particular focus on cultural change and integration, having in-depth practical knowledge and understanding of change management in complex organizations.

Professional Experience

Robert Paul has over 20 years consulting and management experience, working mainly in Europe, but also in Australia and the United States.

He has led many strategic change and transformation programmes, such as large-scale re-organisations, cultural integration and leadership development programs as well as mergers and acquisitions. Since his time with THT, he works closely together withFons Trompenaars, acting as trainer and consultant. He has consulted/trained with companies such as BP Oil, Castrol, Philips, Bearing Point, Shell, Schneider Electric and SHV. 

Robert Paul is very much a pragmatic businessperson and sees culture and business as going hand in hand. He is a respected speaker on international conferences on culture, leading change and transformation. 


A native of The Netherlands he developed his passion for culture through working internationally for most of his career. He understands the cultural context where business issues manifest themselves and is actively looking for the ‘courageous conversations’ that will companies help to achieve improved performance.

Robert Paul graduated from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, Rotterdam School of Management. He holds a postgraduate degree in Change Management from the VU University, Amsterdam and completed the Coaching and Consulting for Change Program (INSEAD), leading to a degree in Organizational Psychology.
